Hi just been speaking to brother in law who lives in York. He as told me that a new Porsche garage is going to be built at Neither Popleton. Anybody no what group are going to run it. Will be great for me as i live in Bridlington. Also have newish one at Hull. Regards Glenn.

Thats great news, just round the corner for me. Hope that doesn't mean I don't get a loan vehicle if the car needs to go in for anything!

Surprised we are getting a dealership here, I wasn't sure York would be big enough. Maybe with it being so close to the A64 its really easy for owners to get to.....

I look forward to seeing the build progress and the opening day.

Apparently it is an annex to the Leeds centre and not a stand alone centre. Allocation of cars may be linked to Leeds. It is being set up primarily to cover the large area between Leeds, Hull and Teeside for customers ease of servicing and attracting the areas lucrative market.

According to the York Press article the facilities seem to be very extensive and don’t give the impression that it’s just a sort of service centre or annex to the Leeds garage, I know the York Press can sometimes report inaccurately so I wonder if they have got this wrong? Leeds, Teeside and Sheffield are part of the JCT600 group but Hull is the Lister Group I believe and are offering a very competitive level of service to those in the JCT600 group which of course is welcome.
