Porsche approved bodyshop request for info

Hi Eddie

Really hope your lovely Boxster is OK (and, more to the point, yourself and Marilyn)?

Elite in Northampton: http://www.elite-motors.co.uk

Porsche approved and they definitely know their way around Porsches.
We held one of our Show&Shines there amongst other things, a few years ago.

Hi Eddie,

Bodyshops aren’t approved by Porsche these days they’re only recommended, and I think that Elite Motors in Northampton is still on their list:

I used them a couple of years ago to replace the front PU on my 987.2 Cayman after an impact with a kamikaze cat and they did a decent job, though I’m always reluctant to make any recommendations on the basis that any service provider is variable. I believe that several other R10 and R24 Members have used them on occasions.

Hi Eddie,
I hope your Boxster hasn’t suffered too badly!
You may remember I had a bit of a crunch in my GTS. I too used Elite, and have had absolutely no issues following the extensive work they carried out in February 2018.
Regards.
Mark

Hi Eddie
Yes I would definitely recommend Elite, for work carried out for me in the past and also after seeing the work done by them on Marks GTS.
But as Jeff said things do change but I cannot fault their work.
Hope you and Marilyn are keeping well.
Regards Andy

Hi Eddie and Marilyn ... Hope you both are keeping well , my daughter had her Audi repaired at Elite body shop and they made a first class job so another recommendation from me ...
Happy Christmas to you both and hope to catch up in the Porsche in the new year ....
Russ ..??

Hi Eddie,
I don't know what you need a bodyshop for but if it's just for smart repairs such as bumper scuffs etc I think Silverstone OPC now have the ability to complete this service in house since their extension was completed.

Thank guys, third party insurance has taken responsibility for the idiot that caused the accident.Needs new front bumper and right wing ????

Sorry to hear that, Eddie, hope it’s sorted soon for you.

Otherwise, have a great Christmas and Happy New Year, both of you!
