The following attached statement has been issued by the PCGB board of Directors and circulated this afternoon to all members of Region 5 to help clarify the situation in relation to the recent dismissal of Allan Crosby and the R5 organising committee. We have been advised that this statement will also be included in the forthcoming edition of the Porsche Post magazine

Much work has gone on behind the scenes to achieve this statement and whilst we are grateful for this, the recent situation has been very hurtful and difficult for all concerned.

Further work continues, but hopefully this at least demonstrates that there are no financial irregularities and there was no wrongdoing from a misconduct perspective on the part of the RO or the organising committee.

Following the departure of the previous Chair, the board have made no attempt to tell region 5 members why they ALL decided to dismiss the whole R5 committee of volunteers. As members I believe we should demand that our board informs us of the reasons why our committee of hard working volunteers has been sacked en mass.
It appears to me, as an average Joe member of PCGB, the board has zero consideration for what the real voting members want. I have no faith in the board what so ever. and they should all resign, as they all signed up to sacking out R5 committee.
My understanding is that other regions are also unhappy, and I guess the remaining board members will now proceed on a charm offensive.
Bring on an EGM, bring on a new board.
