the front lower splitter on my 991.2 g t s was damaged on the ferry. Problem is the Porsche dealership cannot find the match. My car has sports design front bumper and the splitter is black plastic they tell me the replacement is in primer . Have looked at all the g t s 911 and the splitters are all black plastic help please any ideas or possible part number or dealer that can help

If it's an OEM fitment, your Porsche Centre should be able to identify it from the VIN.

Clive

Dave, I had exactly the same issue, the splitter for the 991.2 GTS is only available from Porsche in Primer contrary to what you may hear or read. The GTS splitter is the same trim component that would have been fitted to a Carrera S with the optional Sport Design Package and when that option gets ticked, the splitter is painted in body colour. So with the GTS the splitter is always painted in Satin Black hence why you can only get it from Porsche in primer.
I damaged mine but it was not broken, I was quoted £250 by the OPC for the replacement part in primer plus the cost of painting another £250, my solution was to rub it down with wet/dry sandpaper and then several coats of paint from a can of satin black from Halfords, total cost £12.[:)]

My 991.2 has the 'Sports' splitter however mine is a 'S' and not a 'GTS' and its not painted, just plastic finish.

Hi Dave,
The 991.2 Carrera S in the photo from Carlton has the Sports Suspension (-20mm compared to the Carrera) but with the standard front apron (dynamic grilles), ticking that box on the configurator lowers it by another 10mm and adds a different splitter, the one in that photo. It’s not painted but in a black moulded plastic material like the side-skirts.
Before I got my 991.2 C4 GTS, I had a 991.2 C4S but with the standard S suspension (-10mm compared to the Carrera) and the splitter was a different style to the one fitted to Carlton’s car but it was not painted and made from the same black material as the side-skirts.
If the option for the Sport Design Apron was selected on the configurator then that also resulted in the front apron and splitter painted in body colour. If the Sport Design Package was selected which included the side-skirts they were also painted in the same colour as the car.
The Sport Design Front Apron was a standard fit for the 991.2 GTS models and was painted in Satin Black and as I said before that’s why it’s only available in Primer so that it can be painted to match either an S in it’s body colour or a GTS in satin Black.

By the way my C4 GTS has PDCC with the additional -10mm Sports Suspension so its -20mm compared to the Carrera but the Apron and Splitter were the same For both PDCC suspension options.

Your OPC will confirm this from the VIN of your car.

I went through this procedure by the way when I damaged mine. The OPC first ordered the one that you see in the photo and of course it would not fit the GTS as the Front Apron is different.

Depending on how bad the damage is, if it’s just a scrape underneath then it can be sanded down and resprayed.
Adrian

Just to add something, your original post said that when you enquired your OPC could only offer it in Primer but all the GTS you had seen had black splitters. That is correct because as standard they are all painted in Satin Black.
