Hi all. My name is Adi, I am in LS29 and I've been a member for a little while, but this is my first post. Not sure what the proper etiquette is, but just wanted to introduce myself. I have two 911 turbos, a 1989 and a 2006. I am really looking forward to some normalcy resuming next year to take part in some events.

Hi Adi,

Very nice to hear from you. Wow, 2 Porsches. You are very lucky to have 2, especially 2 turbos! Looking forward to meeting you when we are all allowed out to play again.

Kind regards,

Dean & Leyla

Thank you Dean, Leyla and Mark!

The difference between the two is quite striking. Definitely feels like 30 years rather than the actual 17.

997 turbo (gen 1) manual is my favourite car of my adult life, while the 930 the dream car of my youth.

I've had various '60 classic cars for a long time, but had a real consolidation this year to focus on these two.

Hi,

Welcome to the club - look forward to meeting you (once we can !)

Mark & Julie

Welcome indeed, and we can look forward to when we can meet up for some good drives out.

Thank you guys! Hopefully not long before we can do something.

I got a nice drive in the 930 on Wednesday and there were lots of fun cars out as the weather was decent. Sadly all of Yorkshire must've also been on the road before the lockdown, so everywhere I went was very busy.
