Inlet manifold gaskets - suggested suppliers ?

Morning all,

I've been meaning to change the ISCV for years as it sticks when cold - finally going to get round to doing it this week - partly prompted by losing a spark plug under the inlet manifold....

Anyhow, suggested suppliers ?

BTW - whilst searching in the garage for set gaskets I found a brand new set of exhaust manifold gaskets and 2 x crush rings for the exhaust/turbo - any use to on anyone ?

Hi Chris, I,m interested in the 2 crush rings and maybe the exhaust gaskets, let me know what you want for them? I'm only 5 miles away.

I discussed the merits of different gasket types with some friends earlier this year and as a result my mate had these made by a company local to me:

I’ve got a set to fit, they’re like some full-on Harry Potter material that is cold to the touch!

£19.95 EACH?
Seems expensive but I suppose if their claimed 3% horsepower increase is real then its probably a cheap horsepower increase by Porsche standards...only 15 per pony :)

£20 for 4. Not each [:D]

Dunno on the pseudo-science but anything you can do to reduce heat can only be a good thing. Dave Brailsford’s marginal gains innit!

Find a way of incorporating the intercooler into the air con circuit, and it will go like fook.:ROFLMAO:
