Blower motor cover - WTF on the £ ?

Need to really replace mine - OPC and Rosepassion quoting £200 + VAT for a flimsy crappy bit of plastic.... WTF !!!

You could have some made up in CF for less than that....
 
You should try maintaining an Alfa, try rocking up at your local Alfa dealer to buy a trim part even for a relatively young car. It will definitely be the funniest thing they heard all year.
I bought a blower cover a few years ago, I think from the OPC, definitely wasn't £200 though, more like £50 from memory.

great offer thank you - its the flimsy black plastic cover that sits over the blower motor between the bulkhead and the windscreen scuttle - same part for S2, Turbo & 968 - will get a photo later

Hi Chris,

Sorry - I got confused and must have mis-read the thread title - I though you meant the little plastic cover on the wiper motor [:D]

Unfortunately I don't have the plastic trim, and yes horrendously expensive for thin plastic...

I bet it would be possible to make a mould with a wood template that could be used to make a replacement out of PVC...
