Thinking about buying a car from Jackson porsche only problem is I live in Liverpool do think that there may be any problems with re registering and warranty issues I have only seen a video the car looks fantastic only 5900 miles from new 991 .2 gts in gt silver

should be ok to re-register the car in Liverpool, but maybe you require a test as not sure if you have the 3 year rule there. Warranty should be covered by any porsche dealership, so again should not be an issue if it has proper Porsche cover. So not know of this car as I did not pop in to the showroom when I was there the other day.

Thank you. Car is 2018 991.2 gts in gt silver seems to have everything that I could wish for . Have you ever dealt with jacksons before the salesman is very helpful but I feel uneasy about buying a car that I have not seen. I am very tempted. What are your thoughts

we have bought a car from them, a Jimny in the last couple of years. They are a big dealership with garages in Jersey and Guernsey as well. I do not know the porsche salesman as he has only been there probably in the last year or two. I can pop past and look at the car if this is any help to you.

I bought a nearly new Spyder privately from Jersey that was sold by Jacksons. originally The warranty is standard 3 years; make sure it is a UK spec car (it should be). You will have to pay VAT on the 'import' and have to organise insurance on a non UK car or get it transported from UK dock to home so you can undertake the registration etc

The Isle of Man has the same VAT as the UK, so no issues there (you are correct for Jersey). The car will have two years warranty so you should be OK in the unlikely event of any problems. You're probably aware of our borders situation due to COVID?, you won't be able to come over to collect it so Jacksons will have to deliver the car to you. The DVLA will accept the Manx registration document so re-registering should be no problem, and with the car being under three years neither should MOT be an issue.

Thank you I would appreciate you having a look for me the salesman name is Matt jones.. I given him a deposit and the car is now off sale .. he tells me the car is u.k spec and I will have porsche warranty and will have no problem registering it for u.k
