Boxster 986 rollover bar

Afternoon All,
Does anyone know if the rollover bar on 986 is bonded or just bolted in place?
Has anyone removed their's? How easy was it?

From what I've read on google, remove the local carpets, remove the roof (!) until you see the bolts holding the production cage in and you will find 8 bolts, obviously just unbolt it and with a friend lift it out. Doubt it is heavy, just awkward and close to the bodywork.
