Hi Folks,

Last year when I removed the Turbo to replace the AOS seals I refitted with 2 new metal sealing rings from Porsche (the horrendously expensive ones), I think I have a small leak from this area which may be the source of my fumes issue and it does sound like the exhaust is blowing in this area. I think it is the joint on the left in the picture below which is leaking...

What has everyone else done in regard to sealing these joints when refitting the turbo?

Thanks!

i used as you new rings from porsche but i also used exhuast paste. just carful with it and not too much just enough to take up imperfections.

I’ve just had some downpipes made and bought some MLS gasket sheets from eBay. I’ve had the Fabspeed MLS gaskets 1:1 scanned to use as templates so am going to have a go at cutting some out this week. Clamping the gasket material between wood for the cuts as I don’t have access to a laser [:D]
