LED Front lower lights

Hi, I have taken the plunge and swapped out my front spots and replaced with LED's, the ones with the strip down the centre. I was just wondering if anyone else had swapped out theirs? I am getting error code's for the side markers, the w5 the centre strip. I have ordered some resistors , has anyone else had this issue and how did they overcame it. Anyone using the fogs as DRL? If so how did you set it up?

Not exactly the same, but I got an error thrown when I used 'normal' LEDs to replace my sidelight bulbs. Any LED bulb you buy for a 997 needs to be CAMBUS compliant, so it is read and accepted by the fault system. Lot's of options available on a popular interweb shopping site.
Insofar as using the fogs as DRLs - I've heard this is possible by installing a resistor behind the light switch so the come on when the switch is set to 'Home' but I'm not about to attempt that myself. I drive with my main lights on all the time anyway. I've had far too many close calls driving a low silver car on a bright day in the countryside, and having dopey nimrods pull out because they can't see / haven't looked properly. (Usually both)
