Door lock button.

Hello Chaps,
Any ideas?
The door lock button on the drivers' side does not go down when I operate the alarm (Sigma) from the remote control. If I use the key it does go down and starts to flash. All the others operate as normal.

I'm thinking of three possibilities:
  1. Mechanical - oil reqd.
  2. Electriacal: - broken / bad contact
  3. New part reqd: - ???
Any help appreciated.

If it works with the key the actuator or linkage from the actuator is probably the culprit.

I will keep you posted, as one of the window switches in the same door has gone intermittent so I will have to get the door card off for both jobs.
