Ignition clutch switch

I have been having intermittent starting issues on my 997, narrowed down to the clutch switch above the clutch pedal.
I'm going to change it, however it is buried behind a ventilation pipe and I'm not sure how to remove the pipe without breaking it.
Anyone have any diy instructions on removing the pipe ?

Once the pipe is out of the way it will be relatively easyto swap out.

many thanks ??

Hi!
I'm going to make an assumption here, and it's that your car has Cruise Control. If it does, the switch you're looking at is almost certainly red - this is actually the Cruise switch.
The Clutch switch is white and nearer to the pedal. This article from the excellent Pelican Parts site tells you how to replace either

Thanks for the reply Stig, yes I'm pretty sure its the white switch causing my depress clutch fully message and subsequent start issues.
The pelicanparts guide is great but its for a left hand drive car so no issues with the vent pipe obscuring access.
I can reach the switch with the tips of my fingers, but not the screw that attaches it to the bracket.
If I could remove the plastic vent it would be easy, I can get to one of the fixings for the pipe, however the second fixing is impossible to reach from the drivers footwell.
I'm reluctant to remove the HVAC unit from the centre console, but I may have to and then attack the second fixing through the console opening.

There must be an easier way ??
