Virtual Club Night - Wednesday 9th September - 8:00pm
Given the ongoing restrictions, we will be hosting another virtual meeting via Zoom this month. There will be another opportunity to catch up with fellow members and to discuss events taking place across our Region and events happening in neighbouring Regions.
Also if anyone would like to share ideas for next year's calendar to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the Club.
It would be nice to see you and if you would like you to join us, using a laptop, computer, smartphone or tablet, for our virtual monthly meeting, using Zoom, please use the access details that were sent out in the latest R5 newsletter. Alternatively, please contact me or Allan Crosby at:  r5@porscheclubgb.com
Other Forthcoming Events
Bear Town Charity Road Cruise - Sunday 27th September
Not official PCGB Event
With lockdown easing the Region 5 Committee have been liaising with the organisers of the above event which will include vintage, classic, sports and super cars of all makes.
The event will start from Congleton Town Centre before heading to Tatton Park by way of Jodrell Bank. After a relaxing break at Tatton Park, the leisurely cruise will head back, ending up at Gawsworth Hall.
The organisers are close to the maximum limit of car numbers but at the time of writing, there are literally a few spaces left for PCGB members. If you would like to attend this event or would like more information about it, please see the separate post in the R5 forum or contact me at: martinghdavis@outlook.com
Blyton Park Trackday - North West Members
There are still places available for the first ever regional trackday on Thursday the 1st October at Blyton Park.
The day represents a fabulous opportunity to explore the performance of your Porsche in a safe environment post lockdown where all government guidance will be observed to keep you safe.
This will be the best value track experience of the year at just £150 for a full day’s track time with no additional charges for passengers from the same household.
To book the event, please do so via the main Club website or alternatively contact Mandy Sear, Events and Motorsport Manager, at the Clubhouse.
Regards,
Martin
