991.1 headlight beam

i drove my 991.1 with bi-xenons at night for the first time last week and noticed that on full beam the road is lit up perfectly as i would imagine.

however, on dipped beam the lights only seem to project about 30-40m in front of the car. is this right?

is there any adjustment that i could make to raise the beam or is a common problem on 991s and i should maybe invest in stronger bulbs?

any thoughts?

We I recently drove into France and switched on the inverse light config because of driving on the right side of the road instead of the left, caused the lights to angle down slightly when on low beams. To check if this is selected go into the settings in the screen in your instrument cluster and make sure that the exterior lighting is selected in the "standard" and not the "inverse" setting. If you're in a garage with the headlights on you can see the difference when switching between the two settings and then you'd be able to confirm if that's what's causing it.

Last night i took both headlights out and manually adjusted the beams. it's done the trick.
Now to see if i get flashed next time i drive at night!
