ROGUE SPEED LIMIT POP UP

The top line of my instrument display is set to show range which I find very useful. Recently a speed limit type road sign has kept popping up in the top field displacing range.
I note from the handbook that some specs have a facility geared to a forward camera to read and display speed limit road signs but I did not knowingly specify this and anyway the speed limit signs displayed on the panel are not in accordance with the real road signs.
I assume that the display is linked somehow to the navigation system GPS and I have never updated the database which accounts for the erroneous speed limits displayed as many limits have been reduced locally over the last couple of years.
I just want to stop this "popup” but cannot see any reference to it in the manual.
Any help much appreciated.
911.1 Turbo S software version 45.63

I would check what:

Vehicle->Settings->Display->Upper line
is set to on the multi-function display. There is an option to show Speed Limit on this and thus to stop this, you need to reset it to another setting (fuel range presumably)

Hope this helps.

Thanks for your help you are absolutely right
Options are :-

Channel Name
Fuel Range
Compass
Boost Pressure
Blank Line

However I do not have an option for Speed Limit and Upper Line is already set to Fuel Range.
I have tried changing to the other options successfully but again the Speed Limit sign pops up at regular intervals!

Probably some software glitch but it has taken six years to manifest itself as the only setting I have ever used is Fuel Range which is what I want without interruption.

To quote Microsoft "an undocumented feature"! and I am sure some tecchie will know all about it.
I wouldn't mind too much but the limits shown are well out of date.

Found it!

Vehicle->Settings->Display->PCM Display>Speed Limit

unchecked the latter and the rogue sign disappeared, not sure how it got checked, perhaps accidentally when I was trying to reset the TPM after fitting a new tyre.

Further reading on the PCM Manual indicates that this info is from the GPS database, as I do not have the camera road sign option although I do have a front sensor for the adaptive cruise control. In my case the database has never been updated and I have no idea how to do it or even if it is available at a reasonable cost. My handheld GPS updates over the internet for a nominal sum but I assume that this is unlikely for Porsche and will require a trip to the OPC at £190.80 per hour plus whatever the update costs
