Its almost time for our next virtual club night again, where is this year going? If you still haven’t yet managed to join us online through one of our Zoom meetings why not give it a go? These meetings are a great way to catch up with friends and hear about what everyone else has been up to over the past few weeks. Perhaps you may like to share any interesting drives you have done in your Porsche recently or join in with discussions on how best you feel we could potentially manage a few more smaller social meets in the near future, events like last month's evening visit to Sally's for an ice cream with a few of the R22 guys and girls. This month, Simon Walker has kindly agreed to organise another Kahoot quiz for us all to enjoy (so have your smart phone handy if you'd like to interact). Usual start times apply, join us from 7.30pm for a catch up, with the quiz scheduled to start around 8.00pm

Since getting together in large numbers officially, is still just out of reach, it's good to see more and more members choosing to contact each other directly ensuring the social side continues flowing while we still do our level best to follow recommended guidelines, especially as we as officials, remain shackled as to what we can and can't do by what is currently considered acceptable by the Club. That said, it does seem if you follow certain other Regions or Registers on various other social media platforms, these strict rules seemingly don't apply to everyone, but you know what, two wrongs certainly don't make a right!

For those taking part in the quiz Kahoot! is set up and ready to go, if you want to cram in some last minute revision the questions themed around some famous Porsche celebrities and Porsche motorsport, sometimes a bit of both!

Hoping at all works on the night!

Another good virtual evening with Porsche friends. Thank you Simon for another enjoyable R3 quiz night and well done to David Chapman who continues to prove month on month he really is an endless fount of Porsche knowledge.

...or a good guesser! 😜

Just wish to express our thanks to everyone who's contributed to keeping club members in touch, and entertained, via monthly Zoom meetings.

Let's hope it's not too long before gatherings can be held in person.....

John & Gillian

Best get revising your 944 wheel bearing part numbers as I’m doing next month‘s quiz [:D]
