Hydraulic Jack for 718 SPyder?

Richard,

I've had one of these for nearly 10-years:

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Clarke-CTJ1250AB-Tonne-Aluminium-Racing/dp/B00OWCP3C2/ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=Clarke+CTJ1250AB+1.25+Tonne+Aluminium+Racing+Jack&qid=1595327247&s=automotive&sr=1-1

Low entry, so there's no problem accessing the jacking points even with a jacking pad in place, and the 1.25 tonne rating is more than adequate for lifting the mid-engine cars.

There are also much cheaper and perfectly adequate low entry jacks available nowadays:

Thanks Motorhead - was liking the 500mm lift of the one I suggested - means I can use it for the Macan too - 375mm won't quite get the Macan's wheels off the floor ;)

What jackpads are you using for your Porsche - is the a proper fit one you can suggest?

Hi Chapelle - thanks, the Costco one looks like a good alternative - will go read up!

Richard,

I bought an aluminium pad similar to this many years ago off eBay to keep in the Cayman; excellent quality:

More recently I purchased these rubber and polyurethane pads which fit Halfords axle stands; they're fine for the purpose:

Hi I bought a quickjacks last year from Cosco when they had a offer on. Lifts the whole car to 450mm. You get various size blocks, And can get a SUV kit to add on. They are really well made and very safe to work under car. when not in use fold flat and store under car in garage. would highly recommend Regards Glenn
