Wanted GT4

Think you'll struggle to get a Club Sport spec GT4 for c.£60K. There's a couple CS spec GT4s for sale on Pistonheads but they're nearer £70K and more.

 
I'm willing to pay up to £65k but don't want to pay OPC prices on a private sale. I'm guessing main dealers aren't offerring this for PX so not unrealistic in my opinion. We are heading into a major recession so I may end up paying over the odds but such is life!

 
The optimists are the ones with cars that don't sell! There are GT4 and GT3's on ebay and piston heads etc and are still not sold after more than a year! I just sold my 997 turbo because someone made me a realistic offer. I could have asked more but I know it would have taken me months to sell it. Hopefully there is another realist out there with a GT4!

 
There is a white GT4 CS on Pistonheads at £66,991 with a garage in Wales but apart from the CS pack it's a pretty base spec and what warranty would you get with the car too?

what ever spec you like really.

the price you are asking seems ok to me, that's above trade price, so some one part exing will be better off selling to you.

cars are NOT selling at £67k and there are 30 odd cars for sale and been for sale 6 months !!!

these will be under £60k come xmas. the voodoo one was nice with PCCB at £69k but was a £90k car hence it sold.

seem to bit a bit special to sell atm.

Steel braked run of the mill white cars with low spec up at £67k are dreamers.

issue with private sales atm is they are over valuing their own cars !!!

Why is CS important to you I can understand if you intend to do a lot of track days and want to use a harness but if for mainly road use I don't see the need, in a GT3 it adds something but imo not in a GT4 and I've owned both. It will rattle .

My opinion make sure you have buckets, leather, carbon as essentials and it will feel a nice place to be and maybe full climate control.

Then its what you can find, brakes, lights, park assist etc all nice to have but not essential, don't worry about audio as you won't be able to hear it and you probably won't want too.

 
When I was looking for my GT4 I wanted a full CS spec car, so cage and LWBS seats, I didn't want a comfort spec car. My cage does not rattle at all, maybe Geoff has been unlucky with a cage rattling in a previous car.

@Lynwood, go for what you want, if you want a CS spec car then go for it but definitely get the LWBS which should come with CS spec car anyway. Mine happens to have a nice spec but it took a while before one came up with exactly what I wanted, I'm not selling btw [;)]

There are a few CS spec cars out there and you never know if you see one you like the seller may be tempted by a cheeky offer; you don't ask you don't get!
