Hi My first post after being a member for almost 2 years.

My 2009 997 C2S Cab is due for 2 year service, just after some recommendations as to where to get it done. I live in Seaham, Co Durham.

Regards

JJ

A number of us in the south of R3 use Jamie at Nelson Porsche, 35 Skinner St, Stockton-on-Tees, TS18 1EG. 01642 670766.

I use Sam Lander in Malton, Unit D2, Pyramid Estate, Showfield Ln, Malton YO17 6BT.

Phone: 01653 695706

I appreciate that it would be a bit of a trek from Seaham, but I can highly recommend Sam.

Many of us also use D&G Porsche Specialists, see below. They are the nearest for me , I'm in Sunderland and I have used them for several years, Dean and Gary do a good job.

Have used Tom Ferguson in Gateshead for brake pad change and they were fine, not used them for any routine servicing.

Tom Ferguson are at:

18 Saltmeadows Road, Gateshead, Newcastle- upon-Tyne, Tyne & Wear, NE8 3AH

If you are ok travelling a little further, D&G Porsche have been mentioned earlier and are just behind the Silverlink retail park. I have used them for routine servicing, maintenance and upgrade work and they do a good job with great customer service (and I’m a very picky customer!)

Hope this helps......?

You won’t be disappointed JJ. I help out there 3 days a week so didn’t comment in fear of being biased. Will look out for you when you book your car in. Regards Mike

I've used Tom Ferguson for many years and have always been very satisfied with his personal service - as i live in Washington it is only a couple of miles away !

Have any R3 members had recent dealings with Jamie at Nelson Porsche. I've been try to phone and am getting no reply + can't see any other contact details.

Jon,

Several years ago I called by Jamie's place for a quote on service work. He inspected the car, said he would work out a price and get back to me.

I'm still waiting..... Like you I called several times with no reply and eventually gave up. D&G have since serviced my car very well for several years. You won't be disappointed there ....

John.

Thanks John,

I've tried several times and no message service and can't see an email address. I'll give D&G a call.

I've always used Jamie Nelson. He's very knowledgeable and does a great job for a fair price. He does work on his own though and so rarely answers the phone. Best thing to do is to visit and, if you want to use him, book your car in there and then. Don't be surprised if he doesn't have a slot available for several weeks as he's constantly busy.

Hope you get sorted somewhere.

John

Thank you John,

I had thought about doing that but was surprised there was no facility to leave a message. Now booked with D&G so I'll see how that goes.

Jon
