July Meeting

Greetings All

We have closely examined the Government rules on social gatherings which you can see HERE and you will see that the restrictions haven’t been relaxed enough for us to resume our monthly meetings which is very sad.

Porsche Club GB, as the largest one make car club in the country and consequently high profile especially bearing in mind the cars we drive, has to be seen to comply with the rules and as such has written GUIDELINES which reflect the Government rules and you will have had details of these sent to you last week.

Although the Coopers Arms will be opening from July 4th and are taking bookings for meals, it is impossible for us to have a gathering on any scale, let alone our normal numbers, under these restrictions and we will have to wait until the rules are more relaxed. They are obviously unable to allow us to have a meeting room. If smaller groups wish to meet up it may be possible but must be agreed with the Regional Organiser if they are to be held under the Porsche Club GB banner.

Tom and I will be there but only to make sure there is a familiar face!

We hope you understand and will bear with us until we can comfortably and safely meet again. In the meantime we will have a Zoom meeting next Monday and I will send details out later this week.

Stay well and safe everyone.

Laura
