Independent Engine Inspection report

Does anybody know or can recommend an engine specialist who would be able to inspect an engine in bits and talk to the lad that has already worked on the engine in order to provide an independent expert witness report on the findings from that engine. The engine in question is a 2.4S off a 1972 Porsche

In short, had some work done on the engine, which wasn't right. Then had a.n.other do some work on the engine to try and solve the problem but it didn't and now the engine is back in bits for the second time having now found more problems as a result of the works does the first time around.

So the report will need to be based upon a conversation with the engineer that now has the engine, which is in bits, has carried out work already not at engine with more to do

It would be helpful if you stated where the engine is located.
There are a number of competent people who understand early aircooled engines and who I have used in the last 10 years. I think the issue may be that such people may not wish to get involved in what sounds like a potential dispute. Also the three I would recommend are all extremely busy at the moment.

Can you give a little more information on the engine problem, what part of the engine is the source of the problem?
What caused the engine to be disassembled in the first place and why did it need to be stripped down again.
I am with Kirk on this matter, he is right about someone else getting involved in a dispute.
More details please.
