[attachment=TargaFlorio.pdf] [attachment=TargaFlorio.pdf] In 2018 we were invited on a special tour to Sicily and the circuit of the Targa Florio.

This was an amazing trip, we set of through mountain passes and glorious roads to take a ferry to Palermo.

Great roads and better company, we returned via a lot of the Italian highlights including a good section of the Mille Miglia course and visited the museum in Brescia.

Whilst most of the group set course for home, we headed further into the Dolomites and then Austria.

I really enjoyed your write up and pictures. Looks like a good time indeed. We are looking forward to 2021 where we are booked on a couple of trips into Europe.

Thank you

Ian

Hi Peter, many thanks for writing up a fabulous trip and posting here. Just one comment - except in the "Properties" of the pdf there is nothing to say who the author is, so you are missing out on credits....and possibly deliberately also lots of questions! More to come for us all in 2021 hopefully.

Good morning Brian, I am glad you enjoyed the summary of our trip. I compiled the posts to try and give people some motivation to get out and drive more. This year the restrictions that we have all had to comply with have curtailed our fun considerably.

I am happy to answer any questions, while I am certainly not an expert in European travel, we have been to many countries and experienced the requirements for driving first hand. We are still struggling to obtain 'green card' cover for one of our upcoming trips to Croatia, something that may be more common in the new year as the implications of Brexit are confirmed.

Best wishes,

Peter
