Hi all,

I'd like to introduce myself as ill be sure to be pestering you local lot once a crumb of normality returns. Im Andy and live in West End, Southampton. Ive had 911's for some years, only just joined PCGB.

I currently own a 997.1 C4S Manual which is my daily driver. However now it lives on charge and barely manage 100miles a month :(

Getting to grips with the group, any heads up of meets would be ideal.

Thank you

Hi Alan,
Welcome to PCGB and R17. Very few R17 people use this forum, I guess most of their contact is through the monthly meetings which are held at The Empress of Blandings between Cadnam and Ower on the first Tuesday of the month - currently due to Covid-19 the meetings are suspended in favour of Zoom online meetings.

Hi Andy, Welcome to R17. I use forum ! We have a 14 plate 981 Boxster S so often looking at their pages to see what drama's people have got into. Only been owners for 3 years and still surprised by some of the issues Porsche models have in general. Would love a 911 but they are so much more cash ! Hope you get to enjoy your 911 a bit more soon. Adrian.

Hi Andy. Welcome to R17. I am just down the road from you in Botley. Been a member only since last September when I purchased my first Porsche. The only Porsche event I have attended was the recent track day at Goodwood in my Cayman 981 GTS.
I am looking forward to meets when things become a bit more normal. See you at one in the future.
Brian
