I cant believe I’m the first to post, but like me you were probably dumbstruck to receive the mailing announcing Deb & Greg’s intention to stand down as R3 Regional Officers.

I suppose starting the post lets me be the first to personally express my thanks to them both for all the hard work making R3 the premier PCGB region, all the effort they personally put into the regions events and for the fantastic welcome given to my membership of PCGB and R3.

Its such a pity C19 has got on the way of a fantastic final driving season. All the best to them both, and I’m glad they intend to stay active in the region.

Equally shocked here too!

Covid-19 is certainly striking devastating blows where least expected. There could be no more welcoming, inclusive or hard working regional organisers than Greg and Deb. They certainly made venturing into Porsche Club life as least daunting as possible and have kept us interested and entertained in equal measure ever since.

If the decision is not reversible then we wish you both, and your business, well and echo the sentiment of being glad that you'll still be participating in the joys our marque brings.

Big shoes to fill.

John & Gillian

Having given 5 selfless years to R3 both Deb and Greg have my best wishes in the difficult times ahead. I for one will be looking forward to events and drive outs and indulging in a little bit more of their company at events and impromptu runs. Welcome back to the back benches 😉

I am amazed how you have kept going for so long, given the time and effort you have both put into the RO role. It must have been a tough decision, but surely it has to be the correct one in these difficult times.

Very best wishes.

A great lost to the club and the members of the Region.

Another long standing stalwart official of PCGB steps down sad loss. [:(]

Time to relax and enjoy.[;)]

All the best.

Cliff & Tracy.

Day one walking into the Stables and being greeted so enthusiastically makes it so much easier to settle in.

Making every one feel welcome is a great skill to have and you both do this instinctively.

Many thanks from me for all you have done to make R3 so great.

You will be a huge loss at the helm but great to hear that you will still be a part of the region.

Yes, a definite loss to all Porsche Club members - Deb and Greg have shown exemplary service in their roles, with award-winning Regional Organisation, always with a great passion for the marque.

Hope to see you both again soon when we can be out and about some more! [8D]

Sad newa I've not been to a meeting yet lol, I joined up, then so did covid so that was the end of that lol

A sad day and huge loss for R3.

Thank you both so much for making us such a fantastic club.

Randall & Willis

Sad news but at least you will still be part of R3. In the short time Ang and I have been members of R3 you have both done an amazing job and R3 is in a brilliant position within the club and you always make everyone welcome from new to long term members.

Thanks for putting R3 where it is, a great friendly club

Ian and Angela

Sad news indeed but understandable. My personal thanks for all the support given to my family and I last year by Greg and Debs. I wish them all the very best for the future.

Well I only hope Boris doesn’t forget them & honour them with an OBE each.

Hope CH is going to recognise this couple for all the graft they have put in over the years

Can’t believe it’s 5 years since Greg and Debs took on the role. Huge thanks from me for everything they have done for the Club.

Always impressed by their narratives on here & in Porsche Post-so friendly & welcoming whenever I saw them & their Regions impressive attendance at R18 Porkers in the Trough meetings always enlivened our annual event.

All good wishes to them & R3.

So sorry to hear that Deb & Greg are standing down.

After being a PCGB member for the best part of 15 years (with a 2 year hiatus in the middle), you both were the reason I came to my first club meeting after meeting you both at the Porsche Golf Cup event at Wynyard 3 years ago.

I was so impressed that I managed to drag Rita along [:)]- OK we don’t attend as many events as a lot of you due to other commitments, but when we have we’ve thoroughly enjoyed them.

Fully understand your decision and appreciate all the time and effort that goes into making these events happen.

Thankyou both & hope we will meet up soon

Trev & Rita

Such a sad day for R3 and the club.

Deb and Greg put their heart and soul into the role of RO and they have left a legacy that I hope can be maintained on within their region. I am sure they will do their best to help their successors in the role.

Such nice people with infectious enthusiasm and I hope that they can still be a large part of the club.

Sad to hear this but fully understand, thanks to both of you for the fantastic effort you always put in to make this region the best and it worked. Looking forward to spending more time with you at the events and we wish you and the new organisers all the best for the future.

Really sorry to hear this, your enthusiasm and commitment to the region and the club have been outstanding but your family and business must come first.

We hope everything is going well for you.

Bit late in posting but I'd also like to echo the above sentiments and offer thanks to Deb & Greg for their work and making R3 such a laid back, friendly club. All the best Guys from Bee & I!
