Hi Guys, This week had 2 New tyres N0 spec fitted by Approved Pirelli dealer, got home and to my surprise noticed the date stamp to be 3417,that is week 34 2017 ! The tyre dealer was also surprised and having spoken to Pirelli UK was told NO spec no longer available & should not have been fitted to my car.
To complicate the issue I have a Porsche used car warranty, which now means I also need to replace the fronts with N1 spec tyres as they all need to be the same. The front tyres still have 7mm remaining so if anyone needs 2x 235/35 20 88y let me know.
Adrian.

Yes, halfway through a 2 year warranty, so need same N rating front & back ! How crazy to give away 2 tyres with 7mm when trying to save the planet ??

week 18 2019 on back and week 41 2019 the oldest date is 02 2018. I've had the full set changed in the last month and half. I've never thought to check the age of them. You'd naturally assume that they're all "new"

Hi Snowball, I thought the same until I watched the Pirelli Zoom meeting through the club. The engineer at Pirelli said any tyre 2 years old in stock would be scrapped ! That means a New tyre could be on the shelf for 23months, not exactly what you would call new.
