Its almost time for our next virtual club night. If you haven’t yet managed to join us online through one of our Zoom meetings why not give it a go?

With not a lot to cover club wise, it would be great just to catch up and hear all about what you have been up to over the past few weeks, or any work you have done on your Porsche.

This month, David & Karen Bradford have kindly agreed to organise another Kahoot quiz for us to enjoy (so have your smart phone handy if you'd like to interact). Usual start times apply, join us from 7.30pm for a catch up, with the quiz scheduled to start around 8.00pm

Hopefully at some point during the remaining 2020 season we may eventually be able to arrange a proper good old get together, until then I guess we will just have to continue to rely on electronic wizardry and technology. Watch out for your latest zoom meeting invite dropping into your in-box via mailchimp early next week with an invite link.

Great stuff....I may have to arrange for a steak & chips to be delivered as the call starts to give it the full R3 club night experience.

See you there.

Looking forward to it. Although I hope we can answer a few more of the quiz questions correctly. Last month I think we were wearing the dunce's caps.

We'll do some revision this time!

See you there.

For added realism why don’t you arrange for it to be delivered about halfway through the call instead.

Eldavo - where do you get steak and chips delivered from? I obviously don't live in a salubrious enough neighbourhood, only Chinese, Indian, Parmo or the traditional stalwart of fish and chips available here. :p Still, not complaining, will be joining with pint in hand (rum and coke for Gillian), so all will be good!

Rhys57 - There'll be an email from Greg and Deb with a hyperlink to the meeting. Click the link and follow the instructions to get to the meeting.

See you there. [:)]

Thank you everyone who managed to find the time to join us again for last nights Virtual Club Night. It does make a difference. Whilst I appreciate this format certainly isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, I feel most members who have participated have certainly embraced it as an interesting alternative during these difficult times.

I would especially like to Thank David and Karen for taking the time to put together last night's very enjoyable quiz it certainly tested us all. The Kahoot format seems to work extremely well. It's a shame that it takes HQ and our board so long to implement anything these days, this could be used to even better effect to host a Region V Region Virtual Team Quiz. I certainly think the knowledge in this region, as Mr Chapman displayed last night, is definitely second to none.

100% agree Greg, although I am getting worried about the glimpse we get into Any & Dave’s domestic life 😜

Really enjoying the quizzes although I often regret the answering quickly for the bonus points then realising with a bit of logic applied I picked the wrong one as soon as I’ve answered! As I can’t break into the top 5 I’m happy to pull together up a future quiz to take the pressure off if you need volunteers?

What's not to like......it's ages since Ive seen a man in a pub, a man in a Porsche showroom and a man in his shorts.....[8|]

So if you want to socially distance from any Porsche driving drinkers with short hairy legs then R3 is the place !

Sorry for dropping off abruptly last might, looks like I need a new MacBook.....bring on the next quiz ....:p

Was a pleasure for us putting it together and hopefully people enjoyed it. What a great night it was, and for a change I could have a beer ;-)

David.

Many thanks again Greg and Deb for another entertaining evening.

I was always taught that it's not the winning but the taking part - which is just as well looking at our dismal points score! However, a great range of questions from David and Karen tested us all again, so thanks for that.

And as to the banter....... hilarious!

I'm happy to support Randal in drawing up the next or subsequent quizz, then David and Karen can participate.

Hope the newbies enjoy their evening too.

Looking forward to the next Zoom meeting.
