968 Cabriolet driver's door glass

Hi, Sorry, I'm not used to this forum and earlier this afternoon I asked if anyone knew of the whereabouts of a 968 Cabriolet driver's door glass that might be for sale. I really only need the bottom 'runner' that the glass sits in as mine has rusted through.
I did get a reply from Waylander and wanted to thank him (although I'd be reluctant to follow his advice due to my inability to hold a story) however I've been unable to find my original query to do so - it must be there somewhere... So, at the risk of opening up a parallel thread, thank you Waylander, and should anyone know of the availability of the piece I'm looking for, preferably second hand as I know the typical Porsche price for new, I'd love to hear from you. The only one I've managed to find in a breakers looks to be almost as rusted as the one I'm trying to replace.
Many thanks,
John

Hi It was in the 944 section and parts listings

Found these if any interest

so here is the porsche part number for the drivers door glass
941 542 904 10, you can use that to search

also, the 944S2 cab windows are the same, I have checked in PET which is the porsche parts system and both the S2 and 968 share the same glass

all parts on a Porsche are described as LH and RH, this is from the drivers seat view, so offside in the UK is RH, so in the USA although offside is the other side of the car RH is still the same,

Shrive Cars have a Passenger one, might be worth a call

did you place that question in the 968 forum for a reason

best Alarm is the one that does what you need, satisfies your insurance company and also your wallet

any thatcham approved alarm should do the job

or go ask the question in the 911 section of the forum, I’m sure they will have some advice
