Snetterton June 8th

Hi Mick, I will be going, no news through Porsche official channels re on/off but as its an MSV track it looks to be open for the date as all of their tracks are open from the end of May.

I would suggest you read further details below, as it looks like you will have to have your own helmet, no spectators, no instructors etc as social distancing and hygiene rules are enforced.

i suspect we will hear further official Porsche club info once the tracks open at the end of May.

Hi Jim

thanks for your reply.

no doubt you would have recd the same goods that we are good to go for Snetterton.

I’ll look out for you and say a social distance hello

Hi Mick.

It will be my first track day.. I’m hoping to enjoy the car and meet some club members from R11 or anywhere to be fair... as I’ve only just bought my
first 911. excited [:D]

Hoping to join in on some drives and days out etc....

Does R11 get together often?

hi Mick, Yes saw the good news, Snetterton is still on. So pleased, even if it wont be quite the same, given social distancing.

hi Turbo neil, welcome to the club. Come and say hello on the day.

re Essex official meets, there arent many social drives, the last good one I attended was to Paul Stevens, where we did a nice drive out to a pub lunch afterwards. There are a few peeps who do like to drive so meet up on ad hoc basis just for a couple of hours / morning for a blast around the essex and surrounding countryside.

The london club did a nice cars n coffee meet ‘ out east ‘ once a month which was great pre lock down and plenty of spirited drives from that region also, but they are extremely popular so get booked up v fast. .

Look forward to catch up with both of you on the day.

if all works out as planned I will be there with my Silver 991 and cousins Black 991 targa. So we should be easy to spot !

Any help all four brakes seem to be locking on from time to time
Hi Gary...

Best make a separate new post on this query, as it may not get seen in this ’track day’ item.

There are also some good forums on Facebook if you don’t get a reply here. If you’re not a member of any of these, let me know and I’ll have a search for you. But tell me more details, ie, model and year of car ????
