Hi all. Had a auto technician sit in on a drive to try to get to the bott of the noise on hard acceleration as per a previous post. The rear wheel bearings have no play/grating and driveshafts and suspension all appears to have no issues. Also no transmission noises.

Does anyone know if the PSM make any kind of noise when it kicks in? He suggested that maybe it was a driver aid kicking in?
l‘ve no experience of it and it did also make a noise when really booted on a slight bend.
lt‘s a conundrum at the moment.

Thanks

It makes a kind of hammering noise from the PSM unit in the front compartment, but you should see the PSM light flashing at the same time.
