Spenny. I have heard excellent reports on this company who are very experienced in painting / refinishing Porsche wheels. They know all the paint codes etc.

I am not aware of anything special about the non gloss black on the standard wheels. There is no metallic content or anything so I guess it is all about the 'sheen' that you want. I would expect any good powder coater to be able to show you samples. Have you considered the anthracite?

The Porsche online configurator is a good tool for evaluating the standard options.

I would appreciate any help after hours of web searching to no avail.
I am planning on getting my Cayman's 20" Carrera S wheels which are currently standard satin alloy colour powder coated to satin black.
Does anyone know or can advise how I might get the OEM paint colour for the black Carrera S wheels that you see on many porsches?
I think it's a satin black that I'm after, not matt or gloss.

Any advice appreciated.

I`ve not been impressed by the satin wheel finishes on new Porsche`s … they appear to have a slightly `mottled` texture, I assume that this is the intent ?

Probably. I think I would ignore the Porsche official colours and just try to find the finish that suits your specific needs..

(Interesting that you went from a manual R to a PDK 981. My R was PDK and the 981 is manual)
