An interesting Cayman up-grade!

That was a great thread, I wish I had those skills. I noticed that Ralph’s old Cayman 3.8 appeared at the end too.

I've posted back on ddk with my modified Cayman story. I was surprised to see the post in ddk as I thought that forum was all about older models. Any other modified stories can be posted in the Club Forum's Modified Section..

I'm a very regular visitor to DDK as I have a '73 911, but my Boxster is tolerated by most too.

'Moderns' are up to the last of the 993 911's, but many on there have Cayman/Box etc too.

That was a great find Graham - well done. Not a site that I've visited very often, but I'll have to keep a look-out in future.

I must confess that initially I wasn't convinced about his choice of colour, but the finished item with its black wheels, black highlights and the houndstooth interior looks surprisingly good.

I'm sure that it won't be long before the 986 and 987 are accepted in their 'Modern' category once battery power and hybridisation really take-off.

I've been on DDK since early 2008.

You will not find the forum/site on Google etc, all a bit word of mouth and really for all the early cars, now up to the 996 but not including it.

If you have an early Porsche, you will be hard pushed to find a more 'comfortable' site.

An excellent job. Good colour choice. Works well with the black highlights.

Donegal looks similar to where I live.
