Raise a glass to the woty

To all who would be going on the woty and are currently stuck in lockdown, I propose that we all raise a glass tomorrow night at 7 o'clock and say cheers Greg and Deb and here's to future freedom and a revised date for the shenanigans

Moira

Thanks Moira. I wasn't booked on the WOTY but am raising a glass to Deb and Greg for sure, all R3, future WOTY's and PCGB! Good luck to all and hope to see you all soon.[:)]

Thanks Moira, that’s a great idea and lovely sentiments, don’t worry we will be back to normal service sometime and when we do I guarantee it’s going to be one hell of an R3 bash.

The good news is after lots of discussions, negotiations and toing and froing with Solberge Hall, they have eventually agreed to pay back our deposits, rather reluctantly I may add, but I do understand why, in these difficult times. Unfortunately, when still remains to be seen, but I am hoping it will be in the next week or so.

If you are one of the many people who booked and paid your deposit, rest assured we will be dropping you an email soon to discuss how best to refund these payments as soon as we possibly can.

Perhaps if there is any desire, we could organise an R3 virtual WOTY just for everyone who had booked up for this via a Zoom meeting for those who are missing the chance to catch up with their friends, just a thought.

Until then, Deb and I will happily raise a glass to you all, cheers.

Greg & Deb.

We raised our glasses last night (ginger beer ! - on a fitness drive ).

It would have been nice to see some old friends and to re-visit Solberge Hall this weekend - weather would have been good too for the driving - never mind, there's always a next time.
