Copy for Porsche Post

It'll come as no surprise to anyone reading this that regional reports over the next couple of months (at least) might be a bit lacking in substance. With no past events on which to report and events planned up to mid-summer at the very earliest, cancelled or postponed, I'm going to struggle to keep things interesting (there are only so many times I can get away with getting my own cars in print!) so this is a golden opportunity to throw open our slot to R26 members.

So if you have done, or are doing, anything interesting over the lockdown period (preferably automotive, but not exclusively Porsche related) or have anything else of interest that others might like to hear about, it would be much appreciated if you could put a few words together and submit them to me at my email address copied below. Don't worry about word count, I can edit the submission(S) to fit our slot, and I think the editors might be happy to flex the 500 word limit. Photos would also be appreciated, preferably sent to me as a link to a Dropbox file.

Out next submission is due on or around April 20th

My email address is; chris.hak911@gmail.com

Many thanks in advance,
Chris

I am hoping an idea we have for this month's online meeting might generate something for you Chris, including photos... Lookout for the mailchimp reminder. That isn't to say we are still not interested to hear what people are up to. Even Bomber has had some long overdue maintenance!

Porsche Club posted a request for articles a few weeks ago and I said contact you Chris about last year's WOTY

It's worth a try Paul, but I'm after copy for the region report - contact Tref re the WOTY report. It was his write-up so if he gets the nod from the editors, I'll be more than happy to work on it and submit it

I reckon we'll have at least three months of lean times Tref (and that's probably optimistic) and I'm sure there are members out there who are champing at the bit to tell their story so I (we) can do with all the help we can get to keep up the regional report impetus
