HI
a quick background
I am just living in UK since last year, bought my first 911 and the car is under Porsche warranty till 2021.
MOT is due within few months and as I was thinking : where is the best place to do the MOT for a Porsche around Grantham (all address welcome).
Or going directly to Porsche Nottingham,do the MOT , replace oil and filter in the same time.
thank for your point of view
and keep safe in this strange time

Nottm OPC is closed at the moment.
Don't worry about the MOT, mine is due on 17th this month.

Due to the unusual situation we are in at the moment, all passenger cars MOTs have been extended by 6 months if they are due on or after 30th March, which I'm sure you know.

If you're in Grantham, I would suggest Vertu Honda. I get my Porsche MOT'd there as its far more convenient than going to Nottm (which I have done a couple of times)
I've had 6 Hondas since 2004 and they have looked after all my Type R's & CR-V's.

Hope this helps

Depending when your service is due and if its close to the MOT expiry, then yes it could be worth going to Nottm OPC to do an oil and filter change.

Nottm OPC MOT is £54 I think.
Minor service is £399.

What's your cars service history like?
If you want to keep full OPC History then Nottingham is good. (and I guess you will if its still under warranty)
My car is full OPC History and Nottingham have looked after it since 2015.

If you are happy to go the specialist route I can recommend CavendishPorsche @ Long Eaton, a bit further than Nottm OPC, but Minor service for a 991 is almost half the price.
I've been a couple of times between services, a friend of mine had a major service, IMS retrofit, clutch and sports exhaust fitted by them and he was more than happy.
They're a nice bunch of lads.
