718 Tuning

I made some enquiries about this a few months ago and was told I would have to send my ECU to the States to be mapped. Not sure if this has changed in recent times though.

9e and Litchfield have tuning packages, featured them in Modified Register piece in Porsche

Post a few months ago.

APR haven’t released a full list of ecu numbers yet, UK Dealers can flash your ecu if your model number is covered.

i use/sell the Cobb tuning alternative which has been very good so far! Sold a couple of units for the 2.5T engine with great feedback.

Ehresmann use a separate ECU …

They supply either a Cobb-like OBD port loader or directly modify the ECU - as an option they will supply a copy of your standard ECU.

I think APR have done the most research and have the biggest gains on what I have read so far.

I will hold out until it comes available for my car.

I was told it would cost around £1000 the last time I called for 911 power 😁

I looked at APR personally before i took on COBB, power wise both companies are quoting around the same 440bhp power max. (fuelling dependant)

Since launching Cobb can now be front end flashed via the access port (which is handy in itself for error code reading/ecu cal logs and gauge info)

ie. No need to take to send your ecu off AND have just in the last 48 hours released the pdk software which I should be able to report back on next week once I’ve flashed it.
