Rev Counter Malfunction

Just jumped in the car to pop to the shop in my one permitted trip each day and noticed the Rev Counter not working, not moving. looking completely uninterested - doing didly squat in fact.

Has anyone else had this problem or heard if it is anything today with Covid 19 now being able to jump from humans to cars ???

Must say this 992 ownership is not going entirely smoothly - looks like it will be another job for the OPC to deal with when my car eventually goes in to have the faulty driver window switch replaced and to try and find where numerous rattles are coming from [8|]

Haven't heard about this before but don't forget that there is no limitation on the number of times you can leave your residence provided it's for a permitted reason.

The plot thickens - popped out yesterday evening and the rev counter worked fine but a fault came up saying the emergency call system had failed and the car needed to be inspected - then moved the car this morning an no faults at all ! I think it may be related to the battery charging or lack of it when the car isn't being used regularly. It does make me wonder if the 992 was brought to market a little early but surely more than 5 years between models should give them enough time to test it properly !!?? Ummmm.....
