I am starting to think with the deepening virus crisis I will be reluctant to drive the 45 miles to my OPC for the booked 2 year service
next week and wait for the work to be completed ( first service loan car not available until late May) The difficulty for me is the the health warning for underlying conditions from gov.uk.
Since the 991T is still under Porsche warranty until April2021 its a concern that delaying the service may invalidate the warranty, although the mileage is only 7000, some distance from the service interval limit. Of course in the end its a personal decision however I would be keen to hear if other members are facing this or similar issues

The Honest John column discussed this very issue recently. My suggestion is to talk to your OPC (suitably senior) and explain your situation. They might agree to come and collect and return your car. I am sure they will help you out. Keep well.

Hi Chris - Porsche Colchester have just emailed me confirming their actions regarding the CV-19 outbreak. They are willing to offer a valet collection and drop off arrangement for their service customers. My 991.2 is due for it's first service (6,500 miles) in May and I will be phoning Colchester on Monday to arrange this. Don't know which OPC is relevant for you but I would call them and discuss.
Cheers
Mike

thanks for this information Mike
I will get in touch with OPC Swindon
on Monday and discuss options
