I am sure Greg & Deb have events in hand with current situation they are one of the most active regions I have ever seen. Always plenty going on and if possible without putting anyone at risk they are the Region.

Lol cheers Cliff I know that.. it was a general question to see if anyone had anything adhoc planned tomorrow or any interest in getting one off the ground to get away from the endless coronavirus coverage!

Hi All,

Yes I’m a ‘very likely‘ for a run out tomorrow.......

Flexible as to route taken....

Just let us know a start or meet up point.....?

Raj

Great stuff looking like we have the start of something...

Any ideas for a meeting point? I’ll be heading from outskirts of Suinderland/A19 are we all in the Sunderland/Newcastle area or further afield?

Only constraint I have out not (too) early start and be back in time for a cavers if Mrs Gronk feels so inclined aftefr being left for the morning?

Simon, the Leader of the Opposition says I'm allowed out for breakfast and a short run but I need to be back by lunch-time 'ish.

Looks like most are from north of the region, how about we meet at "Toys R Us" / "MacDonalds" car park opposite the Metro Centre.

McD opens at 09.30am. we could kick the tyres for a while and head out at 10.30am.

NOTE: Happy to be swayed towards a different venue for breakfast if anyone knows a nice butty shop......

I could meet you at the Hastings Hill for the run over from Mackemland...

Thats a pity Randall, I’m always impressed following your Panamera.

Its starting to look like we have a plan.

John, meet @ the Hastings Hill @9am?

McD’s is as good as anywhere in lieu of any better suggestions? If we are meeting at the Metrocentre does this run look any good? https://roads.porsche.com/content/en/routes/winter-blast Looks like it starts @ Greg & Debs place...I think the submitter our own R3 Dave, are you out there?

Raj, aren’t you Sunderland way too?

Yep I’m Sunderland.....

I’m assuming the Hastings Hill is a pub........? 🤓

(Um I’m not big on pubs only been in the area a while)!

It is, just before the A19 roundabout on the A183 heading towards Penshaw. Its directly across from where the new Aldi is being built, that ring any bells?

Great so anyone around Sunderland area meet Hastings Hill approx. 9am before heading to McD‘s at the Metrocentre (unless there is a better recommendation) for approx. 9:30am to meet the others leaving for run around 10:30.

That work for everyone onboard so far?
