Hi All,

Are there any 996-ers going to Das Feuer on the 22nd? If so, will see you there. Will make sure I take a fair few pics and will upload them afterwards.

Evening, James

Yes, I am planning to and have a ticket, but also, have a lot of work on at the weekends atm, so may possibly miss it. Depends on weather

Mark

Hi Mark, perhaps see you there in that case!

Mike - no, I've not seen any timings at all either on here or in Porsche Post. I would have thought that the timings would be available now given that we're only 10 days away.

Here you go...

I think most are going on the 15th - as I am, that date is sold out

Aha, I didn't know that it was on this weekend as well. Enjoy the event. I'm looking forward to next weekend.

I have ticket for 22nd. Never seen any mention of 15th before and not on club calendar so if Rodney turns up that day he may be very lonely. Hopefully he will check his ticket first. Actually I'll PM him now to suggest this!

The 15th is actually a GT day only. Both days were first set up on a thread on Pistonheads. Those that couldn't make the 15th were doing the 22nd which was setup as an overflow. I didn't realise PCGB was involved on the 22nd And that it morphed into its own day. The 15th has over 40 cars attending So hopefully loneliness won't be an issue but Corona might be! :)

Thanks for explaining! Club event website says new PCGB event and for club members only so bit of confusion somewhere.

Confusion reigns... But corona has sadly curtailed the one on the 22nd... Looking forward to the rearranged date whenever that might be!

Did it still take place on the 15th Rodney? If so, was it a good event?

Hi James, it was rammed despite the heavy downpours. In attendance were a multitude of GT/RSs, a CGT and a smattering of Ferrari's/Lamborghinis and Mclarens.

Unfortunately the place was also rammed with masses of negative cambered MX5s, Saxos etc so it wasn't the Porsche only exclusive we were expecting.

It's actually a great location, its not just a simple cafe, it's quite the place and really worth visiting.

Shame its been cancelled on the 22nd.

Great, thanks Rodney!

Fingers crossed they manage to reschedule it as it sounds like well worth a visit - even just for the location itself.
