Macan Recall

Just had my letter stating my Macan has the recall regarding the fuel issue. Tried to book it into Porsche Reading, earliest appointment was the 25th March but was told they want it for possibly 2 days(says max 2hrs on letter) so in this case I asked for a car and was then told earliest this this case would be the 4th May. They clearly are not too bothered about it but states on the letter if you smell fuel stop immediately and call for assistance.

Interesting, mine's just had an upgrade but that was for a mapping issue. I was told it was a diagnostic upgrade, but it appears to have resolved some of the loss of power issues from the previous remap.
Regards,

This is due to a service cover possibilty coming into contact with the fuel filter flange and may leak fuel. Porsche Reading are allowing only 2 to be done per day. Not sure how many will be affected.

I believe according to Macanforums that it is petrol only, i understand that you can search for the recall by vin number, but some people say theirs are not showing.
