Hi I am a new member, I own a 2006 boxster 987 2.7, I have owned the car for 3 years before the boxster I had a 911 997.

I live in Redcar, Middlesbrough and I am very interested in some runs out and meetings with like minded porsche owners.

Welcome to the club.

I'm sure you will find something of interest in the region.

Try to make it to one of the monthly meetings and meet some of the members.

How do I find about about monthly meeting please and I am struggling to add pictures that come up instantly

2nd Wednesday of the month in the Stables bar, Beamish Hall near Chester le Street.

Not sure about photos [8|]

Hi Rhys, my name is Kevin and live in Seaton Carew with my son Oliver. We have a blue 987s sport ed., with associated mechanical horror stories for you to laugh at. Welcome to the club and I hope to see you on runs later in the year, as our Boxster is currently enjoying an extended 'spa break' out of the weather in our garage. Do get in touch if you are passing.

Morning Rhys,

Apologies for not welcoming you to the forum and R3 sooner; Deb & I were away for the weekend at the Race Retro event in Coventry but we knew you would be welcomed and in safe hands posting in our R3 section on the forum for the first time.

We have lots of great members not just in R3 but Nationally, and with lots planned already for 2020 I hope we can entice you to become even more involved, where you are sure to make plenty of new friends and find lots of items that may be of interest. Why not check out our provisional R3 calendar here, it will give you a much better insight into some of our Regional events or check out the events page on our Club website for even more.

Whichever you choose, I am sure you will find plenty of events and experiences that you may like to get involved with throughout the year.

Hope to catch up soon and great to have you on board.

Thanks for the warm welcome, I was a member of Tipec but our local region has been a massive disappointment, I believe owning a porsche is more than it just been sat on the drive as I thought it would be a active region which is really wasn't. So I've been talking to Simon Walker that's why I have joined R3 PCGB, the R3 looks really busy and I am looking forward to monthly meetings and runs out. Beamish is a little far for me as I am in Redcar but it will be worth the run out to meet new people. I have a decent knowledge of porsche and a love of detailing, ceramic coatings etc..

Hi Rhys

Welcome to the club and this great region.

We live in Stockton-on-Tees and can vouch for both the formal and impromptu runs being evenly spread in terms of coverage north and south in the region. For example, the Clear Away The Cobwebs run, first formal run of the year, is intended to be in the south this year as it was more northerly based last spring. When they start further afield it just gives more time driving your car!

Many of the national events are further south so we’re well placed to join convoy journey’s on the A19 or A1.

Hope to catch up with you at a club event soon.

John & Gillian

Thanks I am really looking forward to meeting up Im from Redcar, although I won't be able to keep up with your 997 turbo 😂😁👍
