so I know this has been asked a million times and there’ll be loads of threads on it
but I going to ask anyway

has anyone purchased a obd tool thats any good easy to use and will clear faults that they can recommend please

Ive used one of these for the last few years on my BMW a Saab (not in the Porsche as it's pre OBD) along with the torque app on my phone and it works well. Only does engine code, no abs or airbag but does live data and code check/clear. Useful to have shoved in the glove box.

I have the icarsoft scanner, not had to use it yet . Bought it on recommendation on other forums. As above I live near Rugby if you need to try it

I've got this one from Machine Mart, reads and clears model specific engine fault codes (some only read codes which then need looking up). Great for that but I wonder if I'll soon regret not splashing out on a more comprehensive OBD reader...

Hiya thanks for the offer managed to get it in this morning all’s well I know I got exhaust blowing and that’s why light came on running lean
