Has anyone done a factory collection of a 911?

Hi folks, I had a test drive of a 992 C4 and loved it. I've not placed an order yet. I might still look for a nearly new 992 C4S.

One advantage of a new order is that I understand you can collect your new car from the factory.

Has anyone done this? If so any comments?

Thanks for help

I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I'm going.

I've done it 3 times, which clearly indicates I personally consider it a worthwhile exercise.
If you can arrange it, you should certainly go as it's a great experience and provides some wonderful memories.
You can then drive up to the Nürburgring (if it's open) for a few hot laps to run it in!
