I take your point but don't (yet) have a demographic map of membership distribution by length of membership, only postcode. However, having read another thread on here regarding the loss of membership being down to poor efforts by ROs, and those are recently joined and not long term members, I feel we are being directed to focus on that end of the membership list. That said we do have plans to visit all areas of the Region with these Coffee and Cake events throughout the year (as we did last year). It will be interesting to see how many turn up in North Devon.[;)]

We're very lucky in having an active R15 compared to others with a variety of events throughout what is a very large rural region. It's hard work and difficult to please everyone, but you're doing a great job that is much appreciated. [:)]

True, we do feel bit out on a limb here, but I'm not too sure about coffee - most of us are tea drinkers! I'll put my thinking cap on and explore what else might be available to do. :ROFLMAO:

Regards,

Clive

Good point - I'll rename it...Coffee (other drinks available), Cars, Cake and Chat.[:)]
As you will have read, no doubt, on a certain other thread there was more than a suggestion that members are deserting the Club because Regions and Registers are not delivering events that interest them. Oddly, when asked what would interest them the silence is usually deafening. I sometimes think the concept of a "club" is lost these days. To me it means, among other things, there is the requirement to participate and contribute, which you have done and continue to do - thank you.
