Festival of porsche 6/9/20

Hi Helen, did the price of ticket reduce to £15 at checkout as it is showing ticket reduced from £25 to £20 but email from club is saying tickets are £15.

We have previously attended 2 x weekends there & it is a good day.

Thanks

Yes, price is reduced at check out.. you need to click on “club member“ when asked.

Here this link has helpful instructions on how to buy = https://www.porscheclubgb.com/news-and-events/news/2020/february/festival-of-porsche-returns-to-brands-hatch

Hi Helen

On your e tickets did you get your infield pass as I only got my admission tickets and brands has told me that the infield pass will be allocated 2 weeks before. However I have heard from some members that their infield pass was printable!!!!

umm, i think its said its an infield pass 🤔. I haven’t printed it off yet though. I have Not got access to my emails at this moment..

will check this evening and let you know.

EDITED TO ADD. I managed to get into my emails

Tracy, i have a “display Vehicle pass “ (for me and car) and a “admission pass” (for larry)

A1 sounds OK, Tracy.

My (e-ticket) has this (large, for displaying on your car screen), with my admission ticket.

The MSV website for these tickets is a right faff - probably why you were confused with this, as I was, initially.

I believe ‘the Club’ is enquiring as to how to help make their website ordering a bit better [8|].

Yes Paul I think they are trying to make it simpler. We can't all be that silly can we?[:D][:D][:D][:D]

Just wonder how many members didn't receive their pass and haven't realised you had to redeem it to get it?

no, you need to register which car your taking and wait a few seconds for the website to say it has been excepted as a display car. Then you can carry on to buy a ticket for any passengers your taking. thats the bit i got confused with as i hadn’t realised the car ticket included the driver 🤦‍♀️....doh! .

it wasn’t until after i had sorted myself out that i found the very good instructions that the club has posted on the club website

...the bit I got confused with as I hadn’t realised the car ticket included the driver 🤦‍♀️....doh!

Yes that’s the bit of course, but if you looked closely at that stage, the ‘pass’ you are supposedly buying for £15 shows ZERO, which leads you to believe (wrongly) you need to buy a ticket on top of it [8|]

Confusing is not the word!

Well, no matter what I tried using the club link, it was showing me as a Porsche owner, not club member & charging 20 quid..... 😡

I had to delete my MSV a/c & re register for it to work @ £15 🤔🙄

Will be interesting to hear of anyone else experiencing the same problem......

Just to let everyone know after opting for "Print @ Home " my e-ticket delivery took 24 hours, and went to my Junk Mail so don't panic. Remember to tick the Member of a Club box too to get the discounted rate.

£15 and I was allocated A1.

Thanks to all for posting their ticket purchasing experiences - I managed to get my tickets yesterday evening (at which point, if I recall correctly approximately 370 infield passes were still available from the allocation of 950).

Also Allocated A1 and very much looking forward to it!

A8 SPY I hope to see you on the day as well (Mark from EG!)

Just joined the club & signed up for this, really looking forward to it

I agree on the confusing site. I paid £15 for the car A1 permit and a further £15 for me as an individual

Does that mean I’ve paid for myself twice?! 🤔

Cheers
