Postponed.

Originally, to take full advantage of the Classic Register benefits, every Porsche dealership stipulated owners must initially pay to have a classic oil change at their preferred OPC.

This year we are pleased to announce this element has been dropped. Now all qualifying owners need to do to join the Classic Register, completely free of charge is to call in to your preferred OPC and sign up.

If you are interested in coming along and finding out more but unsure if your model is considered currently eligible, please see here for further details.

On the morning, each new applicant to the Classic Register who meets the new criteria will be given a pair of complimentary Porsche Classic number plate surrounds on sign up, Tim and the Teesside team have even kindly offered to fit these at a later date completely free of charge, however it’s essential you pre-book an appointment with the service team if you wish to do so.

Classic Register benefits are;

[ul][*]High quality stainless steel membership card.[*]1x Pair of complimentary Porsche Classic number plate surrounds.[*]Discounts of not less than 15% on Porsche Classic Genuine Parts.[*]Four complimentary wash & vacuums per 24-month membership.[*]Two issues of Originale magazine per year.[*]Two complimentary complete or partial refills of tyres using nitrogen per year.[*]Complimentary 1litre top up bottle of Porsche Classic Motoroil with each paid for vehicle service.[/ul]Although this meet is not exclusive to Classic owners, it is primarily aimed to encourage members with the older models to come along mingle and chat and see first-hand what benefits and services a modern Porsche dealership has to offer them today, so at the very least it’s worth popping along if you are unsure or want to discover more.

Afterall, what better way to while away a couple of hours on a Saturday morning than to spend it with like-minded enthusiasts who enjoy nothing more than a chance to talk about their cars and experiences over a great cuppa and breakfast butty.

Please add your name and model to this thread or email me at r3@porscheclubgb.com to allow us to plan and gauge the numbers interested, should you wish to join us.

Please note: if you wish to take advantage of the Classic Register offer you will be required to take your log book as proof of ownership with you to the dealership, at time of registration (this is simply to avoid misuse of this free offer).

I’ll be there. (Hopefully the car will be too)

1988 944 Turbo S (totally and completely standard as the day it left the factory, honest[:)])

Afternoon Greg

Sounds like a worthy run out, I’ll attend early morning before the Newcastle v Tottenham match!

Many thanks

Not a classic but happy to spend a morning with the wonderful members of R3 if there is the space!

Hoping to pop along to see folks at the Teesside OPC, although my own motor is a little too young to count. Unfortunately I can't say the same for myself!

It's also worth noting there is a supercar meeting scheduled in Stockton-on-Tees High Street that day. I'll check out the times for this and update asap. Those R3 members coming to the area might want to see some other metal on display as part of their trip.

Considering coming along and signing up - is there really no continuing obligation for annual servicing ? I don't anticipate using their servicing facilities at the moment since i am satisfied with my existing arrangements - the details of the scheme seem to still require an annual service to maintain the registration, although at our meeting on Wednesday Teeside Porsche didn't seem to require this.

Chris

Hi Chris,

Just pop along and sign up, but you will need your log book as proof of ownership as explained. I believe the information on their website has still yet to be updated, the current requirement was direct from Tim at Teesside.

Hi Greg I would like to come along and sign up please with my 2002 Boxster S 986.

Thanks

simon

Hi Greg we will pop along with one of the cars if we don't have to book a service, I'm happy with the arrangement I have at the moment

Hi all,

As promised, a few more details about the Supercar Saturday staged at Stockton-on-Tees High Street throughout the day of the Porsche Classic Register sign-up (Sat 2nd May). It's only a couple of miles from the Porsche Teesside dealership, so some may want to pop along after the register event.

The supercar show is in its third year, spectator entry is free and it is happening from 10.00am - 4.00pm.
