Beware of out of date tyres

I just found an item on ebay

193290531408

Listed as a brand new tyre and costing nearly as much as a new one except this one is 16 years old,

EU and British law says you cannot sell a tyre as brand new when its older than 6 years old regardless of storage. I just hope no one buys it

That's lethal! My 8 year old tyres dumped me in the gravel at a Brands Hatch track day some years ago.

There may have been some driver error involved, though...

If someone is interested in these then they can see who is selling from eBay.

you had better edit all the posts then as the name is still mentioned, and if your not worried about members safety then delete the lot,

as the vendor is a prolific Porsche Second hand parts seller, both direct and on ebay

Don't think it's he who's name must not be spoken, but someone has multiple listings of decades old scrap.

I would have thought you/PCGB would be more concerned with peoples' safety..
