Exhaust advice

Evening everyone, just after some advice, just bought a 60 plate , cayman 2.9.

Exhaust note is rather dull, so looking at alternatives either custom or off the shelf , what are peoples thoughts.

Don't want something that is going to drone on the motorway but something that will give a nice note when on the gas.

Apologies if its been asked a thousand times.

The most common reply you'll get is to try the Carnewal mod. By all accounts very good. Hayward & Scott do a similar version.

Another vote for Carnewal GT system....check Gert out online, he's great with responding to questions etc. Many drive over to Belgium to have the swap over done, not expensive re having his item shipped over here/return shipping your old exhaust back etc either. Getting fitted locally in the UK probably is about the same as ferry/driving to Belgium for the day (and not as much fun).....YouTube has more than a few clips of Carnewal (and other Cayman) exhausts

Fitting the Carnewal GT Exhaust tomoz morning, will give you an update.

Gert has an offer on till end Jan 20, where he pays for your exhaust to be sent back to him, works out about £220 per side.

I've polished up the exhausts that Gert sent, another ball of a job, but they look great and I've ceramic coated them for protect (hopefully), don't do much miles, so hoping they stay cleanish, looking forward to the new sound tract 😁😁

Let me know how you get on , i have narrowed it down to 3 options

Hayward and scott modded system

Tony banks custom made sytem

And the belgium weekend trip 😂
