Recommendations for Good Indy please

Well after the best part of 2 years where my car has barely got out of the garage am finally getting round to getting it back onto the road!

Assuming the MoT goes well, I really need to sort out a service, get it checked over and quite possibly get the belts changed.

I used to take the car to Promax, but now they are no more and I am a bit out of the loop can anyone please recommend a good Indy they have had experience of ? I live near Marlborough so somewhere within reasonable striking distance of there would be ideal.

Not exactly close but I had a good experience recently with my 944 at Cotswold Porsche which is up near Winchcombe. Have a chat with Lee and I'm sure you will get some sound advice

Not used him myself for a long time but Steve Bull in Devizes has a good reputation and isnt that far from Marlborough or Northway near Reading,

Northway, not far, at Beenham just east of Newbury on the A4. Always happy with their knowledgeable and pragmatic approach,,,they've been looking after my S2 for the 12 years I've had it. Transaxle cars something of a speciality. If you need to leave the car there, they're a 10 min walk from Aldermaston station.

If the location works for you I would also recommend Northway. I bought my 996T from them, had it serviced there and then sold it back five years later. It's a bit of a trek for me now otherwise I'd have my 944T looked after there.

I use Steve Bull Specialist Cars in Devizes. It's only about 15 mins from Marlborough in my S2. Even less in your turbo!

Steve worked as a mechanic at a main dealer when 944's were new, so grew up with them. Very knowledgeable.

Thanks for all the suggestions chaps. Need to get my act together now and get my car back on the road where it belongs !

I would have said, chat to my son at RSH performance in NW London as his Bodywork guy is superb... he's not taking on full resprays right now until the new booth is fitted... general body panel paint jobs not a problem.

I would second the Northway suggestions. I take 944T and 996 there...useful to know it's a 10min walk to the train station too! I usually drag wifey along to drive me home...
